My local - and I'm fussy. This place is simply sublimely excellent at what it does, which is providing attentive yet subtle service and good food at weekends.
It's always a pleasure to drop in there and I'm always made immensely welcome. Lamb-goers are a pretty diverse and bright bunch, which simply reflects the characters of the Duncan family who run it. And long may they run it.
Pretty much much favourite destination when I have the time.

Had Bank Top Black Bart and Copper Dragon Best Bitter cask ales yesterday, neither on top form, but friendly enough. Has Sky/ESPN.

A small pleasant, friendly local with a couple of cask ales. Very good indeed.
