Lovely little community pub in the idyllic area of Bradshaw. Ample seating in main bar area with two TVs. Smaller room at the front of the pub and plenty of benches in the front beer garden.

I had the Mancunian by Brightside Brewery which was spot on. A light coloured hoppy ale on a warm sunny day goes down a treat.

Beer festivals held on Bank holiday weekends. Also do bar meals which seemed reasonably priced, although I didn't eat.

507 bus journey from Bolton town centre only takes 15 - 20 minutes.

Highly recommended.

A decent local pub with well kept cask ales. A very limited food menu is also available.

What a transformation.
Recently refurbed with a good range of cask ales which supplement the regular Holts and John Smiths bitters.
There is live music Thursdays and Sundays and pub food menu which includes pizzas and curries.
This dog friendly pub with its log fire and friendly staff has once more become a popular local.
It also won the winter local CAMRA award.

Going from strength to strength, good solid choice of ales (one is still Dirty Holts though!). Locals are friendly enough, big plans for when the smoking ban kicks in I believe.

A good local with well kept beers including Deuchars IPA.

Be careful you don't sit in someone's seat, though. Many seem to have invisible place names on for the regulars!

This is a classic local pub, friendly and the increase in choice of real ales, is impressive, usually now at least 3 on, complimented by lager, Guinness and 2 nitro-kegs. One of the ales is still Holts dirty bitter, but you can't have perfection!

Re-opened under new management recently, who talk a good talk as to finishing the 2004 refurbishment that the old management lost heart in (only small daft things to do, but they do need doing!).

Comment to make has to be: No Name - No Comparison.
