Three ales in reasonable nick, food pretty good as well. Beware long food queues in the evening as everyone rushes to place orders when the kitchen opens. Newish pub, but has a separate public bar types section with pool and darts

Fantastic beer and beer prices along with the food! Would go here every day if I had it my way! Friendly and very good looking bar staff too :)

Nice pub, good food better and cheaper than the holliday park next door. The sunday carvery is well worth a visit

Fairly new pub next to Sandford Holiday Park with skittles alley and dart board. Bar ladies served locals first. Beers included Ringwood and St Austell. Busy pub but reasonably priced food served quickly although I had to go back to ask for cutlery.

We were at Sandford Caravan Park last May and to be honest, felt that we wre being ripped off at the on site prices. We had noticed the pub on our way into the campsite and decided we would give it a try.
OMG!!! The food was astounding. Small fish and chips arrived promptly, with two huge fish fillets and more chips than you could shake a stick at. And the price was great value for money.
We are back at Sandford in a few days time and will be having all meals at the pub. You would think someone at the camp site would realise that they are being out classed by their neighbours!!!

Great Pub with friendly staff great home cooked food and excellent local beer with Skittle alley and function rooms for hire. the quiz night is great fun as you don't have to be a smart alic to win just lots of luck. shame about the grockles that take it over in the summer due to the proximity to the campsites. but can't have everything I suppose....

after weekend in holiday camp next door to this place we decided to go in and try the food after reading reviews and got to say was lovely food (espec the home made pie) and the missus loved the scampi . only thing i would say is sunday evening is hectic and we had hour wait for grub to arrive but on the friday came within 10 minutes but definatly worth a try if staying in area

Doing an excellent food offer at the moment so its even busier, but the standard of food and atmosphere as good as ever. Never had a bad meal, just expect a long wait.

This is a great pub, the only thing that lets it down is the size of the carpark and the speed of food. Fortyniner and Ringwood best on when i last went, both very well kept. Frendly landlord never seen him not smiling. good atmosphere.

A bit of a find. Visited yesterday and enjoyed a nice meal and the pint of Ringwood Best I had was good - a shame I was driving. Very busy, but friendly and good value. Recommended.

We visited this pub back in July, ( it's about 100 yards from Sandford Park caravan site), they must have thought we were a small coach party, 10 adults and several kids but it didn't phase them at all, the service was friendly and prompt. The food was good honest pub grub and we sat outside under a huge brolly and enjoyed our meal. Hey, give it a try!
