Came in on a relatively quiet evening, but found Les, the owner to be really friendly and full of chat. What was going to be one drink turned into 3 or 4! What a shame the pub game is going a bit flat. We live in Australia and would love to see more pubs like this!

Nice if usually quiet (at least in the evening) foody pub on victoria park. Good pool table and interesting memorabilia on the walls, lots of bottles of beer including half-strength lager...why not just have a lemonade?

Fab garden, tucked away from leering passers by. It must be good because the Red Cross featured it in their Open Gardens Scheme for the UK in 2005.

One of the best kept secrets in Bath. Lovely, friendly clientele, you are just as likely to meet suits as bikers and the occasional lost and lonely soul! Fantastic home cooked food, and the Sunday roasts are arguably the best value in Bath. If a good, traditional boozer is what you are looking for, you'll be hard pushed to find better than the Park Tavern.
