Very tired pub, owners and pub need a makeover.Wine served short measured ,Crabbies ginger beer down in cellar so had cider instead.Very large dog in bar area barking and beyond control, think I will give it a miss in future.

Great location and very friendly barstaff who said my dogs were allowed in the bar and given water too.

Maldon gold , Adnams bitter and a guest ale all served in good condition.

Restaurant to the right as you walk in.

Will return.

In need of some attention, looks very tired and grubby inside.

Nice little pub situated in a picturesque canal-side setting. Very friendly staff and locals, and the Maldon Gold was in superb nick (great for drinking in LARGE quantities)! Recommended.

Good, friendly local pub serves a tidy pint of ale.

Excellent welcome, food "no problem" some while after the kitchen was supposed to have closed, (8.40pm Friday). Food very good pub grub. Served in "dining room", public bar popular with locals. Would return if in the area. The pub opposite refused food and lost custom.
