great choice of about 15-20 beers from all over the uk

The comments below show how spoilt Norwich is for great pubs. I really liked the Shed, more so than I do the Fat Cat which is often just too busy !. The Shed is spacious and has a really good mix of custom. There were 10 good beers on garvity/pump tomight - Fat Cat stout was excellent. Very friendly.

Home to the Fat Cat Brewery, a different animal to its sister, The Fat Cat and indeed is shed-like inside. Decorated with railway memorabilia and, surprisingly a large collection of mincers (make your own jokes!) on the rafters. Not as many beers perhaps but, coupled with the Duke of Wellington, less than five minutes walk away, you can have a great evening.

A nice pub, good beer garden, and one of few pubs that stocks singha beer to remind me of my times in Thailand, as well as Leffe & Peche on tap and other european favourites, live music, a nice evening out.

Well, it's an improvement on the Wherry but it left me a liitle cold. Any pub that tries to raise the bar on bringing real ales to the masses gets my vote, but the Duke of Wellington (a ten minute walk away) does it much better.
An inoffensive pub, friendly and attentive bar staff and a reasonable range of beers that's pitching at a younger crowd. Except there are already a lot of young people in the Wellie, and the Wellie already owns its own brewery (Wolf, in Attleborough).

I like the Shed.Have been in a couple of times wonderful selection of ales, many of them kept in a tap room.Pleasant atmosphere with normal customers. They do have live music a couple of evenings and Sunday afternoons.A great new pub for Sprowston rd.

A serious disappointment. I expected something like the fat cat but there didn't seem to be any atmosphere. May be because it was only 7 o'clock. Very limited range of real ales. The Fat Cat has spoilt us.

Now renamed The Shed and run by Colin of The Fat Cat fame. Just opening it's own brewery and a must for all real ale fans.
