please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Popped in on Friday Night between 8 and 9.30, was busy with a broad mix of punters, service was good plenty of staff behind the bar to handle the peak Friday evening session. This is a typical Ember Inns Pub with a similar layout to a lot of their other pubs I have visited, same carpet bar layout dcor as all their other pubs. The Bombardier ale was off so I chose the Marstons Pedigree as an alternative. I dont know if it was the way the bar maid pulled it or if the barrel was on the way out but it tasted awful and I was soon drinking Becks Vier. Not bad for a local pub but not brilliant either.

Very bland. Not a fan of the layout either, to many walls for my liking.

Staff seem friendly though (but don't think I've ever seen the woman gaffer smile?).

hi i have been going in the Colebrook for some time now. There is a pleasant atmosphere every-time i walk in the colebrook its always been clean tidy and organized unlike other pubs in the area. The colbrooks managers are very easy to get on well with and do not allow antisocial behavior. the pub has very nice people within it and are a good laugh. I love going in there on friday night even though its heaving. The pub has recently been having a refurbishment which should be great i cannot wait for it to open i have missed going in there while it has been closed the colebrook reopens on the 21st November at 7pm you may see me in there i cannot wait to see what they have done the the pub all the best may see you soon.

Dull atmosphere and the management have a tendency to bar anyone who complains about them. Have also witnessed their children running around the pub (So much for the "No kids facilities")

Great if you like overcooked steak.

Busy pub, pleasant atmosphere, not too expensive, friendly staff.
Did not see any Chavs or anyone who appeared under 18, good range of people.

I have allways had a love/hate relationship with the colebrook, well, maybe not love but an approval/hate relationship.

This Pub was my Local as my Mum lived round the corner and it was my closest drinking establishment. In fact, i bought my first evr pint in there at the tender age of 15. 96p for a pint of brew xi.

In those days the colebrook was two rooms a big lounge and a tiny superbly crappy bar full of fat dudes drinking smoking and playing darts. I never really went in there as it smelt of farts.

The lounge was much as it is now, in fact i think some of the staff are the same. The best things about this place were the.....Hang on?.....Thats right this pub is a convenient meeting place and thats about it it is almost completely devoid of atmosphere and the people that drink there probably don't realise that there are other pubs close by.
So if you want to stand in a big room and watch the people from the surrounding suburban area drink the same beers over and over agian everyday of their dull lives, then this is the place for you.
they also have a beer garden wwhich looks suspiciously like a car park.

nice staff though!

Used to be a reasonable place. Waste of time now unless you enjoy being surrounded by the local 14 year olds. Very smokey now so not good if you are eating.
