Totally empty last Sunday except for 4 quiz teams and two characters not in the quiz who shouted out the answers to questions and when admonished sloped off mouthing 'c**t'. Nonetheless, they were mildly preferable to the patronising old git who went around dispensing 'wisdom' at the end of the quiz. Quiz machine broken. No atmosphere. A few Sunday papers on the table to read which was about the only saving grace. This pub used to be okay!

This pub has changed ownership and it is absolutly fantastic, it does Crouch End proud to have the new Manager and his wife working there, they are a great team. The new Thai menu is outstanding the food is second to none those who have not tried this pub should do fantastic+++++++++++++++++ great amtosphere and certainly no chavs here!!!!!

Really nice bar to drink and eat at. Good new menu and really friendly staff. Definatly an improvement now new management has taken over!

This pub is great now, its been taken over by new management alot of the staff is gone and replaced ith better barmen/barmaids. there was abit of a drugs problem before but thats been cleared up now, full of nice friendly people can be abit pricey some times but it is worth it they also host events that are excellent service is fast and pretty good all in all its a very good up thats only getting better

A bit scuffy with no service.
And with prices matching the West End it's not very good!
Was full of chavs last time I was there.

This pub would be wonderful if it wasn't for the fact that it appears to be run for the benefit of a few of the bar staffs mates who hang around the bar giving menacing looks to everyone. But other than that it is really nicely furbished and has many comfy sofas and booths to sit in. Plus it also has a pool table and sky, I watched some of Greeces games during Euro 2004, much to the annoyance of the aforementioned bar staffs goons. I tried some of the food and it was ok, not to sure on the range of beers.
