please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

This pub reminded me of the Southampton Arms in Gospel Oak, a little. It feels slightly Bohemian. There are many different events on offer and it seems a true community pub for those in their 20's and 30's. However the beer range was fairly poor, with only Landlord & Doom Bar available. Aspalls was the cider.

Fun and characterful, even if the chairs weren't comfortable ! Beer seemed a bit of an afterthought but was OK, a place to go with friends rather than to read a book.

Really friendly service, relaxed but fun atmosphere. Would recommend.

When we went in on a Friday early evening it was scissor, paper, stone hour. If you beat the barmaid, your round was half price. lots of nice touches like that and enough good beers to keep you interested.

Our local. Nice pub, prices ok, staff very friendly (inc. owner form Norway), nicely bo-ho but not over done. Music on a weekend, quiz, movies etc but its not a 'party' pub. Out door area has been made bigger. Only trouble is the pub's quite small and it has some strange opening hours. Best pub in Homerton, which isn't that much of a boast. Not the cheapest but you can still get a pint for under 3.50.

Lovely Sunday roast but why oh why don't you do children's portions? If children are allowed in the bar then it would make sense to serve a meal of child sized proportions. No I don't want to pay adult prices for a meal that my three year old will eat about a quarter of. Serve them or ban children. It isn't hard to give less roast dinner.

The Kenton has been totally refurbished and the opening hours are 3pm-11pm weekdays (until midnight on Fridays) and noon-midnight on Saturday and noon-11pm on Sundays. A selection of Pie & Mash on the menue, plus ales, beers, wines and cocktails. Quiz nights on Tuesdays and DJs in the weekend, plus many more activities throughout the week. Dogs are welcome. No children allowed after 7pm.

Doesn't open until 3pm on weekdays so wasn't open when I came to look around.
