4 real ales and plenty of belgian beers, though rather aimed at the eating market, at least during the day (all tables with cutlery on and no stools at the bar). The Irwell 3 Bad Shepherds was on good form. In the 2012 GBG.

Easily the best bar in Bury. Comfortable and contemporary it offers decent food and a good choice of drinks. Even better since they started selling real ales.

I love this place, the staff are all friendly and will do their best to accomodate any eventuality. The food is fantastic, loving the new menu.
Bar staff are some of the best i have ever seen.
An all round fantastic night out

Lovely food and friendly staff, always feel like I am in Manchester City centre when I go in here. Don't tend to get chav's in here, as the prices are a little higher than other bars in Bury so don’t mind paying the price!

Great bar and the only NO SMOKING venue in Bury so far. The food is excellent quality and presentation, the staff are all friendly and will bend over backwards to make your night perfect. Even the guy on the door, Danny, is one of the nicest doorguys I've met along with a chick-bouncer sometimes. So go in, check it out! If your looking for a bit of class, this is your place!

Excellent service from the moment you step foot inside...if you like a bit of elegance and class, and fantastic service from friendly staff, without paying over the odds, try here! Excellent if you've engoyed a night at Bury's fantastic MET theatre. Highly recommended. Makes a change from going to Yate's (over the road)
(and i don't even work here or am afiliated in any way! I just like to praise a good place whwn i find one! Honest, try it for yourself-if you like that type of venue.)
