Other than the name change there doesn't seem to be any difference. Another of those places with a great selection of lagers, but bad luck if you want beer.
Tables outside.
More of a bar/eating place than pub, which will suit some, but not for me.

this pub has now shut and has turned into the SLug and Lettace!!! havent been yet so dont know if its gd or not!!!

Not that great - not that bad!
Just your standard chain pub located at the top end of town with the other chain pubs (litten tree, slug and lettace, revolution...)

THE BEST BAR IN BATH!!
NOTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT IT!!
GOOD FOR OLD AGES 18- 100 YEARS!!!!!
NEVER MISS IT ON A NIGHT OUT!!!!!

Door staff are welcoming and the staff behind the bar are always happy!!
Good food, not too expensive, dresscode (no sports wear, shorts, hoodies, caps)
This bar is a must when down in bath!!!

32 degrees outside, but shorts are banned after 7.00 pm! It's ok for women: shorts, micro skirts whatever.
Are men in shorts seen as a threat?

Depends when you go. Lunchtimes are pleasant with good selection of newspapers, good food, central location, outside seating areas front and rear.
