Boarded up for a month or so now. Seems permanently closed, except for the one day of Freshers week when its packed with students wearing "official student pub crawl" t-shirts, many of whom are ridiculously drunk by 4pm.
Apart from that, well and truly shut.

refurb? more like lets paint over that garish lime green as the customers have to bring their own sunglasses. Such a shame that they are no longer busy. NOT.

Definitely for teeny boppers. I've only been a maximum of twice I think - once for a work do and once because a friend wanted to go there. The boys and girls were sat in separate groups because they weren't drunk enough yet to mingle and the decor isn't anything to write home about. One of the bar staff was underage which I know because my friend at the time was 17 and the girl was in her year at school. So yeh great for kids but not for anyone over 21.

good loud music at night on weekends.strict on age.mostly full of younger adults.pool table, fruit machines, good bar staff want a laugh, and plenty of short skirt.drink offers everyday.and a pole to dance on if you are in the mood.
