still shut thankfully, but have seen some movement recently. hope if it does reopen it does not attract the usual suspects, and have complaint-worthy noisy music on til stupid o'clock on the weekend

This pub is now closed, used to remind me of the pub from shameless.

This pub has was crap then 2 brothers took over and it became good then big Dale took over and it was good for a while but he didn't last very long..disco used to be banging think one of the said brothers stayed on and dj'd. him and Dale often spotted drinking together in hucknall..come on guys get back in the game....wierd looking couple took over for a while they didn't last long some wierd girl had it for a while (hit rock bottom) however the current landlord and landlady seem rather nice and looks to be picking up fair play to them as the portland is a good pub and it's had some cracking regulars over the years

a bit like visiting a very badly organised circus, animals included, but they have painted it a little, nice bar maid.

Bland and plain pub which you dotted around blighted areas of places such as Sheffield and Rotherham. Really ought to be sited next to a scrapyard or steelworks. Local clientele serves council estate which has been populated by many drug users of which there are endless complaints in the local newspaper. Many thanks to our thoughtful council housing departments. Huge potential to be a good pub but can be violent at times due to the high proportion of local nutters.
