hadn't been down to bar ellie in ages, so popped down this wekend and my god its changed. Very hard Drum n bass and dance techno stuff, looked a bit busy but only go if this is ur kind of music. Even if its not, I was offed someting to 'help me out' by 3 people... what happend in here in the space of a few weeks?!!!

One of THE places to go on a Saturday night, not sure whats going on with fridays, when in last week and loads of hard house dancy stuff real early on.

I can tell you why. DJ's feel exactly the way you do about having to stop playing so early, they are told to because a certain someone has another establishment that they want us lot to go to after hours. The set up isn't the fault of the dj, its all that the "management" can be bothered to furnish him with, because they have bigger fish to fry.

why oh why oh why do they bother having a DJ up untill 11 then jsut leave music playing till its shuts at 12? considering every one goes to the 8 bells first to get tanked up on cheep booze before getting here the DJ sods off before the place gets an atmospher going!
nice little bar, but if ur gonna have a DJ, have a full time one that can stay out late and give him a ecent set up, a dodgy table with a little unit on? talk about making it look like a youth club!
