Well I have been using the Woodman for a while and I find the current Land lord and landlady really friendly the music offered is brilliant!!
Nice to go into a decent local pub, there are many in the area but I find this ti be the best,
Nice to see they are doing Food again, and good prices to. BBQ was good over Easter!! MORE please!!!

very quiet pub, didnt find it friendly presumed landlady wasnt very nice,bit of a beast ! nice pint though

Came here the other weekend - was really nice atmosphere not sure what other people are saying about it being a fighty place - not even a hint of trouble - we will definately go back

what has happened to the woodman? what was once the friendliest pub for miles,has now been transformed into a new youth club,with a fight a night!
the new management in our opinion cannot cope and are lifeless, having no respect for anyone and receive as much back,
what used to be the place to be in the waterlooville area is now the place not to be ,
please come home dave and caz, !

Visit this pub quite a lot but have to say not as much recently. Don't think a lot of the new landlord and landlady and wonder how long they will last. Bring back Brian and Shirley is what I say, the place has never been the same since they left

Have to agree one of the best up this way. Easy going and trouble free and thats all we want when we go out !!!!!!!!!!

great pub. i was made to feel really welcome. Has different things on every night. I will definatley go back next time i am in portsmouth
