Tries so hard to be good, deserves to be ok, it isn’t. Very expensive, staff very pleasant but not very efficient, food pretentious yet still manages to be bland and poorly presented. Lots of people who think rather to much of themselves – cheap suits and shiny faces. Hard to walk to or from, no real entertainment, stop for a pint but don’t plan to stay.

Food is ordinary and uncared for - the camembert was tasteless, the sausage and mash had an inappropriate sauce and the apple pie was a disgrace. Service was very good, beer is mostly fizz

Had a fantastic meal last night. They seem to have improved the quality of the food and service no end and have bought back daily specials. I tried the rendered duck with vodka and black cherry sauce. Yummy. Will return with friends.

Since last visiting in July this place has gone downhill. Foof menu seems to have halved and service was poor. Sort yourselves out!
