I dont mind the odd one in The Star. Bit of a dive like but its bearable for one or two.

All the charm of a rat's arse. And there is no GOOD beer at all. There hasn't been real ale in this place for years.

I worked here a few years ago and agree that although a few of the regulars can appear to be a wee bit nefarious i never once witnessed any bother. It is a decent, friendly place with good beer and a traditional pub atmosphere and if you behave yourself you will enjoy it.

Beer is not great, some of the lads look a bit scary, but it's not THAT bad. There are better pubs close by(Tilleys, The Forth), so I don't really know who would go into it
