Three real ales on when I was in - Okells, Red Goose and Hobgoblin...something like that anyway. Friendly staff. OK

Large bar area upstairs with big screens.
Upon recommendation we popped in for something to eat downstairs.
I had the beef curry which was tasty but could have done with some more beef.
Staff very friendly and restaurant area very clean if the tables were a little too close together.
NO REAL ALE which was a disappointment.

If you want to get lashed with your mates and scream at the referee during a footy match (assuming you can see the tv through the smoke) this is the place for you. If you want to have a coffee and read the times, go to the library.

The 'ronseal' of boozers....so if you dont like them loud, stay away. Bar staff are very friendly, which comes as a bit of a suprise as some of the clients appear to verge on being 'unsavoury' after a few pints and if their team is losing - but i agree with the staff comment - they sort things out well when tempers run high.

Jaks avarage age Group is 38-45 (FACT)
Jaks serve's AWARD WINNING FOOD (FACT)
Jaks can show more LIVE football than any other pub in the island.(FACT)
obviously with Jaks being the most popular pub on the isle of man scally's and court banned people try to get in as well, But dont get to enjoy the fantastic atmosphere because they are soon ejected.(FACT).
where you see the word FACT you only have to contact suppliers, police, etc.

Scally central. Just the place to come to get grief from a bunch of football idiots. When the football is not on the place plays music so loud your eardrums bleed. Also the smokiest place north of hell. Actually this place is hell. Everything that's bad in a pub.
