Good staff and a great middle of the road pub. Plenty of seating inside and out.

THINK BEERMONSTER MUST HAVE BEEN IN THE WRONG PUB! THE STAFF ARE NOT A BIT LIKE HE DESCRIBES - THEY ARE ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND SERVICE IS NEVER SLOW. EXCELLENT BEERS AND WONDERFUL FOOD. TRY IT!!

Visit West Bridgford a lot to see friends and often pop in, usually tended to be when it was quieter on Saturday mid-afternoon ... was in last time on a Saturday night - busy, friendly and clean. Worth a drink.

I know the Lady Bay well and it's nothing like the dull place that beermonster describes.

Its friendly and fun. It caters for all, football supporters and people on nights out as well as those who just want a quiet drink.

The bar staff are friendly and when it's busy they try and get through the customers as quickly as possible. When it's quieter during the day I've never had to wait to be served!

It's also not just Hardys and Hansons real ales that they sell. They currently have the Golden Eagle bitter which is from Burton bridge brewery and they are getting a new guest ale each week from different brewerys to give customers more choice.

The largers are good and not at all flat. Wide choice of carling, stella and grolsch. They have stella extra cold as well as guiness extra cold. Good variety of wines as well, i like the Ocean Bay Ros.

All in all the Lady Bay Pub is a great place to meet for a drink and well worth a visit!

Don't believe everything you read! (beermonster)

10/10 for sure!

Takes 10 minutes to get served, even when empty. Lager often flat. Bar staff usually miserable. Could be better.

I worked in this place mmmm..... nearly 40 years ago. It used to be really friendly, warm cosy pub; I just can't see it with TV screens and football but 1967 was an awful long time ago.

Can't believe it's still there let alone still serving Hardy Hanson.

Must make an effort to call in next time I'm in Nottingham.

Well sized pub situated in a leafy area of the posh end of this suburb.

They have the Hardy Hanson range of ales on and show footie on big screens.

Quite well placed for the City Ground and Trent Bridge Cricket Ground.
