Not too bad if you're waiting for a train. Outside seats, the bitter is OK and you can get from the bar to the train platform in <1 minute.

Rude staff and filthy glasses. Avoid.

The pub is nice: prices, location etc. But staff is not very polite.
I work in hospitality industry and know what standarts have to be when bar person serving a customer.

Cheap, and reasonably cheerful. Very handy for Bracknell railway tation.

did the prices stay the same? I used to go to the goose on the market in croydon, was great on a friday night. Is this the same? Is the food good?

See they have started a re-fit, as it's closed for a week.
Can't wait to see what changes they are going to make.
Hope they leaves the prices the same!

well run pub and the prices attractive. Only beef is for the amount of staff they have the service can be a bit slow. But as large Station boozers go this sit head and shoulders above many I've been in.

Still the market inn to me. Not changed since it has changed its name and brewery. Not many Guest Ales if any then only 1 on at a time.

Had the misfortune to live in Bracknell for a while ....the Goose clientele a cross between the Munsters and the Addams Family !

The goose is a sweet pub, never had any trouble in there and its really cheap. Got place to get wasted!! (possibly a biased opinion as i am a lazy student and a former regular)

area for smokers has shrunk to a tiny size...although prices are very cheap this does lend itself to the pub becoming the haunt of all the local social security claimants.

Good pub to stop in while you wait for your train. Cheap beer and food. Staff ok if a little slow sometimes. plenty of fruit machines for the gamblers out there. probably the best pub in Bracknell, altho that doesn't say much!!
