Remember the a Hole in the Wall as a bit of a dive back In my teenager years but was pleasantly surprised during a recent visit. The owners have done it up beautifully and ridded it of it's loutish past. Lovely warm decor, cosy restaurant with chunky wooden tables and good menu. New chef with a passion for great food. Succulent steaks, chunky chips, homemade soups, risottos and puddings. Definitely worth a visit. It's not as it was! Fab location in beautiful building just off Exeter high street on a quaint cobbled street.

Good on thursdays as it's pound a pint, lively atmosphere and loads of pool tables! It will be a lot nicer if a total smoking ban is introduced.

Basically a Pool Bar full of (very) young pill heads. Enough said?
