The Chamberlain Hotel, Aldgate
Perhaps my favourite pub in the City. The booze is always well kept and the fruity good value, although the food is shit in this beautifully turned out juicer.
However, I feel I should flag up a potential issue here. Over the weekends there is an alarming increase in the transvestite population density. Perhaps they travel in from Brighton or Manchester? Perhaps someething to consider before booking a room?
