The Masons Arms, Marylebone
Not cool. This was one of the best pubs. During my five years of living in the UK I enjoyed plenty of visits to the Masons Arms. A delightful history combined with friendly service from the staff makes its loss regretful. I was always hoping to revisit it whenever I found myself in London again. I second the murgatroyd who mentioned that he was always afraid this pub would get "discovered." It seems, like in my case, it was always discovered just by walking by!
