Closed. Another dead pub in this area. Probably not the last.

half decent boozer, i know it from its troubled days as the butchers. has had a lot of money spent on it refurbishing and its now a decent pub to drink in on most nights, sometimes trouble kicks off coz of some of the clientel, but decent boozer

the once known butchers arms. it is a great pub but if the landlord and police would pay more attention as to whats going on in there and whos going in there it would make it less tense hense an even better night, landlords should want to be the best not have there pub getting a bad name but this is probably a rating of 7/10 and room for improvement.

Just one thing to say. This pub is in PENDLEBURY, repeat PENDLEBURY and NOT Swinton. Bolton Road (A666) goes through Pendlebury and not Swinton. It continues until it become Manchester Road where it reaches the Clifton boundary just before the Oddfellows Arms on Manchester Road Clifton
