Pub is okay, shame no longer doing ale but the food is great especially the chilli paneer, although must be new chef as the portions are a little smaller than previously

Best pub I've been in for a while, has everything you need, Sky, pool, darts, space to move, amazing curries, friendly bar staff, locals who dont glare at you, champion! Prices are reasonable for London too

Recently visited after many years. Surprisingly welcoming and affable crowd: even the kids round the pool tables were chilled. Predominantly Asian clientelle were more than happy to chew the fat - never made to feel out of place or unwelcome in the same way Eastern European pubs in Hounslow.

I was the only person at the bar and I had to wait a while for service, but an apology was given. I think that each of the barmaids thought that the other was serving me.

The back room has 2 pool tables, a dart board and an old TV. The main bar area is narrow, but quite comfortable and has a plasma. There is also a function type room at the front of the pub that had a strong smell of curry wafting around it.

The drinks selection is pretty unremarkable with Courage best and standards lagers on offer.

Id say that this pub is ok for the area.

Tried this pub today as I was working in the area, and I have to say I was very impressed. I am from outside the area (Bristol) and was made to feel very welcome by the manageress (Paula) her staff and the locals in the pub. They have a good range of facilities in the pub, pool tables, sky, good atmosphere, good beer and best of all superb food. I would definitely visit this pub again. But be warned, don't mention anything bad about Liverpool football club to Paula as you might get your food rather quicker than you thought - over your head! Only joking. If you have not tried this pub I can assure you you won't be disappointed.
