This is a fantastic venue!!!

I was a little dubious as a youg guy i always thought Churchills catered for a slightly older crowd... i was so wrong. Iv never had a dull night in there and the karaoke 3 times a week is great. I work in the biggest gay club in manchester and I personally think this is a great chilled atmosphere with a friendly environment.
Have to agree though about the bar staff.. they do generally let the place down.

entertainment=8/10
service=2/10
management=10/10
door staff=9/10

but with good friends who cares bout the staff

I agree with the other comment in that the staff really didn't give a dam and service was about the worse I've had in central Manchester. I like many of the bars in the Village but wont be going back to this one unless it smartens its act...it certainly wasn't cheap either!

Situated in the 'gay village' Churchills is a large 'fun pub' type place with 0 atmosphere. The pub before its refurb a couple of years ago used to ooze character and was a welcome retreat from the madding crowd.However,since these times, atmosphere is virtually non-existent,staff couldn't care less,beer prices are high and generally not worth a visit unless you enjoy any of the above.
