The Jockey, Wakefield

Back in the 80's and 90's this was the place to be if you liked rock and metal music. The place was full of bikers,the beer was excellent and so was the atmosphere. Nowadays you will be hard pressed to find any of the above. I walked in a few weeks ago and the place was full of dolers and people drugged up to the eye balls. Avoid like the plague!

The Counting House, Pontefract

This Pub has to be the nicest and oldest pub in the area unfortunatley its run by people who dont care that it is filthy and the music is blaring out so you have to shout to each other and thats just in the afternoon! Usually full of dolies and students.
