The Old House at Home, West Wittering

The pub is owned by Punch Taverns and leased for 15 years to, in our view, the most unpleasant managers you could ever meet. Sadly the lease doesn't run out until 2020.

The pub's reputation is dire and it is avoided by most of the locals. We gave it the benefit of the doubt five times, every occasion vowing never to return lol.
One of the best features in the restaurant is the smell from the toilets if you are unfortunate to be sat near them.
If there is a problem the landlady is usually inflexible. The pub is currently full of notices telling customers what they can't do. One of her ex-staff described her as the rudest person she had ever met. The staff are often OZ/NZ who stay a short time before moving on.
