The Gatehouse, Highgate

The Gatehouse has a theatre above it called Upstairs at The Gatehouse. They should be prepared, therefore, for it to busy pre-theatre. Arriving at 6:15 on a Tuesday evening I was told that there was a half hour wait for food. Waiting that long for food anywhere is unacceptable but especially in a pub below a theatre. I left. Dont try eating there if in a rush.

Luckily, there is a well staffed, well organised Zizzi right next door.
