The Bridge Inn, Shoreham by Sea

Kitchen closed by half two bank holiday Monday? Was very busy, food looked good but we noted alot seemed to be sent back???? Toilets got a bit messy, had to mention to staff but it was addressed straight away. Entertainment brilliant, therefore we stayed far longer than we intended too, fed kids in the garden from the chippy accross the road unchallenged. Husband verified good pint served and the Pinot was pretty nice too, reasonable price. Staff were ok, but was exceptionally busy and under pressure.

The Hangleton Manor, Hangleton

Been here several times this summer at various times and days and with different crowd. Everyone has been more than happy with food, beer,service and staff. My 4 year old has been with me on most occassions and we have been welcomed in the bar for pre-dinner drinks. (She is an extremely well-behaved child whenever we are out). The attitude of the landlord and his policies are refreshing and the high standards set are being maintained. If you want your kids to let of steam take them to Greenleas recreation ground just round the corner. However if you want a civilised Sunday lunch or meal at reasonable price then this is the place for you. Oh yes, love the fire pit table outside too. My favourite food pub this year! x
