because it was the date my dad was born i looked up the pub he was born only to find it was closed.Dad said in his time it was an important local for all the people that worked in brickfields and als used by the canal boat people.it had a very good name mainly due to my grandfathers Tom Belsey influence he was the licence holder for 35 years and his wife kept until 1944. Together with my mother and my daughter i visited this pub about 2006 had a good pint in there.
