The Fettykil Fox, Glenrothes

Nice enough place but spoiled by the compulsory 'musak' pumping out from no fewer than 10 (!!!!!) loudspeakers placed throughout the pub. There was no escape - not even a quiet corner or segregated place without a speaker. When you are having some food and a drink the last thing you want is wall-to-wall 'musak' which is not of your choice. We asked the Manager if there was any way it could be turned down to a less obtrusive volume but he was unsympathetic and mumbled a response that it was set at a certain level and it couldn't be altered !
Needless to say, we'll be giving it a miss on our next visit to Glenrothes.
