Closed down - now 'hot mikado' an asian fusion restaurant with small bar area. still busy weekends for late night drinking both at bar inside and on new decking terrace outside at back.

The Eagle And Child, Stow On The Wold

Like previous reports more like a pub than restaurant - even more evident with very very small bar counter, only enough space for 2 people..!!!

However, staff friendly and we actually sat outside at front away from diners.

Bar serves local 'cotswolds' lager, which was actually quite pleasent...

The Talbot, Stow on the Wold

Great place and fab atmosphere.

Spent 1 night in Stow on the wold on a balmy summer SUNDAY evening and came across this pub by accident..

Mix of age groups but everyone seemed chatty. Live band playing too which was great.

Drink prices reasonable and bar staff cheerful.

They do serve food, but we only went in at 9pm for a 'quick' drink and left at midnight!!!

All in all a very enjoyable evening.
