Waxy's Little Sister, Piccadilly Circus

This is without doubt the worst 'pub' I have been in for many a year. That rates it pretty low. Expensive ,dirty , uncleared glasses lying about. Bar itself has the look and feel of something slung up on a buidling site to serve thirsty workers with cups of tea. I feel sorry for those who have to work there but not for those who choose to go there. Can't comment on the ale since it did not seem to serve any.

The Fentiman Arms, Kennington

We visited at lunch during the Surrey v Middx relegation struggle at The Oval. We had a pleasant relaxing lunch with better thanaverage scoff, good beer and wine. Very helpful and pleasant bar staff who all seemed to be Australian. Perhaps they were ex-test cricketers filling in. Bit pricey but you can't take it with you.
