Clowns, Southampton

OK... This is THE BEST place to go in your fresher's year. I would just like to make everyone clear - the pub up above is called Clowns and the nightclub underneath is Jesters. Hence why it's called Clowns and Jesters!! Yes the dancefloor may be tiny; yes if you wear baggy trousers they will soak up much of the piss/ sick/ booze that forms a lovely layer on the floor, but for a fresher - it is the cheapest and most cheerful place to go. Monday nights atm are student nights and home to the legendary quad-vod (and will virtually guarantee getting laid), wednesdays are AU night, but anytime, you will enjoy it at Jesters. Prices not on a student night are still good; i.e. a dbl spirit n mixer for 2 pounds, or i think a beer for 2pounds also. Every trip to jesters will leave you smiling. Highly advisable to pay a visit to Ali's kebab and burger van when you get back to Wessex Lane though.
