County Hotel, Peebles

Large roomed pub serving 2 ales (Deuchars IPA & Greene King Abbot) doing a fair bit of bar food. The Deuchars IPA was not the best and the barman was pushing the Abbot Ale. I didn't come from London to Scotland to drink Abbot! Not the best of Peebles real ale pubs but worth a look in. Food looked plentiful and staff friendly enough.

The Crown Hotel, Peebles

The previous description for the layout of the pub is still accurate but the one ale on offer was Stewart Brewery IPA which was in excellent form. Definitely worth a visit.

The Bridge Inn, Peebles

The Bridge Inn, at one end of town on the River Tweed, is probably the beer pub in town. There were 4 handpumps, two of which were Stewart Brewery beers (IPA and a darker beer), Hadrian & Border's Byker Light and one other I can't remember. It's a friendly bar with sociable staff and I'd recommend it for a few jars.
