The Apollo, Marylebone

Used to have a bit of character to it (for a pub built into the corner of a multi-story car park that is) with a good food range and range of beers, but its turned into just another chain pub - same chain as the Globe round the corner - in fact identical food menu. Very stuffy - you can still smell the smokeove 2 months after it was banned.

The Gunmakers, Marylebone

Nice little pub tucked away behind Marylebone High Street (although quite well hidden from view at the moment due to building works on either side). For its size it has a good selection of beers & ciders (bar staff very efficient to the point that they give the impression sometimes that they are waiting for you to finish just so they can collect the empties).
