What a shame, what a scandal. Why does this sort of business need a place like this. It's not as if its customers care where they go as long as they can indulge in whatever vile, deluded fantasy this chain sells them.
It looks like Brentwood is doomed to remain the laughing-stock, chav-magnet of the South East and wait for a generation before it recovers its one real asset, that lovely pub.

Very good beer, well-meaning but harassed service. Vile customers. Easy to find better pubs nearby.
