The Wild Man, Norwich

As far as city pubs in Norwich goes, this one is by far the best!! yes, to the person who just pops in for a quick drink for the first time it might seem a little worn in places and could do with having a little refurb. But then again maybe not, as the way the pub is just gives it more character. You won't find many proper boozers left in the city centre anymore and as far as I can see, this is the only one left as all the others have pretty much been turned into some kind of gastro/winebar ugliness.
This a pub where you can find people from all walks of life enjoying a drink in the same pub, from the bankers from natwest across the street to the big issue seller, from punks to emos to you general average public, everyone is welcome in this pub...apart from maybe chavs and general prince of wales scum who you don't see many of in this place.
The beer is resonably priced and well kept, and since they now have alot of lagers on draft, a hoegarden and leffe lover like myself tend to frequent this pub more and more. And last but not least The jukebox is by far the best in the city and how can you complain when on a monday you can get a pint for �1.50!?
