The Enterprise, Chalk Farm

Good music and good booze. Spent too many hours there than is probably healthy. One of my favourite pubs in London, mainly because it's tattiness appealed. Sometimes have a DJ upstairs which, if you're like me and like a bit of indie, can be a laugh, 'specially if you don't want to leave the place at 11.00.

The Crown and Anchor, Euston

Reasonable prices, big plates of food. Staff are okay, customers mainly office bods, probably from the ad agency round the corner. Quitens down about 8 if it's helpful. Good place to have a post-work natter, as I have done on many an occasion.
