certainly serves a purporse, but always feels a bit grubby (bit like most of the clientele)

not one of the best wetherspoons, breakfast has been below standards of others

The Red Lion, Knowle

fairly boring, inoffesensive pub, only decent if you're from knowle and know everyone in there....consistently slow service over the years and always have the heating turned up too high in the winter

The King Edward VII, Stratford

good smart friendly pub, quite different to everything else in stratford...lively enough on an evening, suprisingly quiet on a sat afternoon

food looked decent although i didn't eat
