The King John Inn, Salisbury

went there last sunday for lunch.
beautiful pub well decorated and furnished.Thats where the compliments stop.
No childrens menus available and when we arrived at 1.30 was advised the roasts had run out.
No-one came to our table,so every time we wanted anything, had to go to the bar.
Had sauasage and mash expecting something special for �16.
What arrived was awful- 2 very fatty sausages on some mash with about a teaspoon of gravy with a few peas.
What a total rip-off!!!
Why they were busy I'm not really sure.
The whole experience from start to finish was unacceptable and shall not be returning as many better pubs nearby.
(bill for 4 sausage and mash and 3 kids sausage and mash �111.)

The Beckford Arms, Tisbury

went there a few days after re-opening on a weekday lunch.
Plenty of empty tables but was told we could not eat as they were full???
Not a good image!!
Shall not be returning

The Bridge Inn, Upper Woodford

Went to The Bridge last night with friends.How lovely to find a pub that is as good as it was.Food great,service great with a beautiful river garden.Thanks guys
