come here on a mon-tue-wed night and a very pleasent place, its an american diner with big portions, good atmosphere although the place can be understaffed and the waiters/waitresses are 16-19 year olds

trouble with a lot of these pub chains is that they spend so much money on refurbishment that when they change hands that they seem to run out of budget when it comes to staffing the place and food quality.
the place is run by youngsters 18-22 and the food is poor, very dry that looks like it has been sitting around for a while then bunged in the microwave.

will not return untill it changes hands again

wetherspoons is wetherspoons, you know what you get, food has gone very much downhill overlast couple of years and this is throughout the company - basically the novelty has worn off for me, i once ordered my food and 1 minute later it was on my table in front of me.
better value for food is the stonleigh inn, go there at lunchtime and the food is much better value
