Big Apple, Eastbourne

Been here twice recently on midweek evenings - good selection of foods, and good value. Large portions - no complaints at all. Would recommend it to anyone.

The Yew Tree, Arlington

We eat here 2-3 times per month - it's our local favourite. The food and service is excellent. Wide selection of foods, including vegetarian dishes. (Please can we have 1 or 2 vegan options?). Food and drinks are alays ordered at the bar - Mercedes77 must have gone to a different pub.

The Red Lion, Willingdon

Went here for an evening meal - but we were disappointed with the food selection, and distinct lack of healthy options.......
Only 1 vegetarian main dish (it was pasta with 3 cheeses - not very exciting). The soup (vegetable soup) was "finished" - it was only 7:30pm!
The chips were lovely, but covered in salt.
No brown bread in sight - all white bread.
Nice food, but we weren't impressed. Probably won't be choosing this pub again.
