Spaniards Inn, Hampstead Heath

The pub and beer garden are beautiful but if you want to experience the worst customer service ever then the Spaniards Inn is for you.

I went with some friends on a Sunday. We waited 20 minutes just to get served for a drink and over 40 minutes to get our food. When the food came my friend's girlfriend, who is 5 months pregnant, got given an undercooked burger. When we asked to see the manager, one of the waitresses just mumbled "He's inside" and wandered off.

It's such a shame because it's a beautiful pub that has been around for a long time. I can appreciate it gets very busy on a Sunday but at the very least the staff can behave professionally and not wander around with faces like the world is about to end and take customer's complaints seriously.
