Only PROPER PUB on the wirral: local cask ale, friendly helpful staff, clean and tidy, lovely pictures of old wirral on the walls, the brass and copper shines in this place, you can tell they care. We deserve more pubs like this.
where else can you get 6 local ales, a cask cider, aswell as 18 belgian/trappist beers, and a range of spirits from moonshine to louis XIII?!
Can't beat it in my eyes, well done The Cock and Pullet!

Thank God someone in the world is bringing back the good old traditional values in our community pubs: nice people, good staff and above all excellent beer.
Enterprise, Punch, they should bring back hanging for the likes of you!
Local Independent Operators buying beer from Local Breweries! That's what we should be supporting and enjoying!
Lovely addition to the revival of our Great British Pubs!
