Has re-opened after a thorough refit as O'Neills. No real ale. Pretty grim!

The St. Ives grapevine tells me that the pub is up for sale - presumably as part of Sir Tim's clearout of non-profitable outlets. I can understand why - out of season and after about 9.30pm the place is usually pretty empty. Shame!

The Bell and Bear Inn, Rowley Regis
The last review of this pub was in 2014. We went there with friends last Friday - what a revelation! Pub was crowded with diners and drinkers - Butty Bach and HPA on the pumps for starters. Great food, good price and very pleasant staff. Looked like the place is really thriving - great! Will definitely revisit!
