The Pack Saddle, Chazey Heath

It looks as if you have to be brave to post on here at risk of being attacked by Mr Angry (psi). So, briefly, looked in to the Pack Saddle on Friday, lovely pub, nice crowd, very welcoming. I cannot see why Mr Angry hates the place so much.

The Griffin, Caversham

This pub was busy last night probably with people trying to avoid the firework displays. food seemed expensive for pub fare but the beer was OK, service on the food was very slow tho. New to the area and finding the pubs, I will come back to the griffin.

Grosvenor, Caversham

Called in here for the first time on Monday. It does look better inside than outside. Very pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately there was no Fosters and no Becks only one ale, one lager and Guinness on at the bar. The menu looks Ok and well priced. Staff were nice.
