The Bridge Inn, Shoreham by Sea

Sunday 17th July 2011. Four of us plus 2 dogs went for lunch at 2pm. The staff were very friendly and were more than accomodating to us. The food was pretty good the landlady had her finger on the pulse of everthing. The only downside was the meat was slightly dried at the edges. But it was good value. The starters and desserts were top notch.

The Crown, Ufford

I visit this pub on a fairly regular basis. It has a good pint of Wadsworths. The food is great value. It is homely and quirky. The landlord and lady are very likeable but strange in a friendy way, the staff humour them like adult children with their aged parents. You have the usual choice of the lounge or the public bar. Customers can eat in either but the later has the advantage of allowing dogs in.

The Three Horseshoes, Charsfield

This Inn is well worth visiting. I particularly like the bar area which is unpretentious and has a real fire when cold. The last beer I had was the Victoria a great real 'bitter' bitter.
