The Abinger Hatch, Abinger Common

Things have changed for the better! We used to love going to this pub but finally gave up on it in Jan 2007 when we walked out after waiting hours only to receive cold soup. We ventured there last night in the hope that things might have changed and were delighted to see that new management has taken over. The place looked fresher, the staff friendly and attentive and the food was of a good quality. The only problem was that it wasn't as full as it should have been on a Sat night - in some part I expect due to the bad reviews it has had in the past. This is such a lovely pub which is definitely on the up again so go back there and give it a try.
